What do I need to be able to rent a van?

A full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years. With no more than 6 points, have your own credit or debit card and be aged 21 to 69. (Over 70? Call for information)

How long do I need to have held a driving licence for?

You must have held your licence for at least 2 years

Can someone else other than myself drive the van?

Yes they can but you must pay an additional driver’s insurance and the driver’s licence, Hire code from the DVLA website must be presented at time of rental.

What do I need to bring with me when collecting the van?

1. A full driving licence for all named drivers, Hire code from the DVLA website https://www.viewdrivingrecord.service.gov.uk/driving-record/licence-number   Due to legal and insurance reasons, we will not be able to rent to you if you cannot produce your driving licence.
2. Proof of address. A utility bill, bank statement or phone bill will be enough
3. A credit or debit card in your name

I have some endorsements on my driving licence. Can I still hire from you?

You can still hire from us if you have 6 points or below on your licence. If you have above 6 points or have an IN, DD, DR or BA endorsement within less than 5 years, you cannot hire from us.

What is included in your prices?

Unless otherwise stated, your rental price is fully inclusive of insurance costs. You will be given a Rental Agreement to check and sign.

Does the vehicle come with fuel?

The vehicle will be provided with a quarter of a tank of fuel and must be returned filled to the same level.
